How it works
The extension inspects the page you have opened and provides a score and recommendations for the AEO elements.
Open a Shopify page
Navigate to a Home / Collection / Product page of the store you want to analyze. The extension will take into account the currently open tab.
Run the inspection
Click on Inspect this page to get an overview of the 0-100 score and Pass / Warn / Fail results for crawlers, schema, content, and other criteria.
Fix and export
Apply Shopify-specific recommendations to address all issues and export the results in JSON or Markdown format to share with merchants or agencies.
What the Inspector checks
Grouped checks with a brief summary of issues in simple English, their relevance to AI crawlers, and recommended actions in Shopify.
Crawler access
Are GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended allowed in robots.txt, and is your sitemap easy to find?
Structured data
Does your JSON-LD parse, and does it include the price, availability, and images assistants quote first?
Content clarity
Is there one clear H1 and a description detailed enough for an assistant to answer questions about the item?
Rendering
Many AI crawlers are incapable of executing JavaScript, so see how much of your main text is already present in a non-JavaScript part of the page.
